Senate Judiciary approves altered bill, sending it to the floor

On a nine to two vote, the Senate Judiciary Committee just approved the altered HB78, sending it on to the House floor.

In effect, the legislation would keep the state’s current policy of issuing driver’s licenses to undocumented individuals in place.
